Desiree A. Brown, marketing & promotions coordinator for Embria, assists the director of marketing in implementing Embria’s comprehensive marketing program.  She is responsible for maintaining Embria’s website and ensuring that its content is relevant and up-to-date.  Additionally, she is responsible for organizing all activities associated with Embria’s participation in various industry conferences and trade show events.

Desiree was previously the executive coordinator for Embria and spent two years in that position, assisting the newly formed executive team as they prepared to move into Embria’s new headquarters and corporate manufacturing facility in Ankeny, Iowa in October 2007.  She maintains an on site presence with Embria’s parent company in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, providing additional administrative support as needed.  Prior to working for Embria, Desiree worked for the State Department at the U.S. Embassy in Canberra, Australia, where she was the office manager to the U.S. Ambassador to Australia.

Desiree holds a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from the University of New York, College at Oswego, with a concentration in psychology.
